Plivo acts as a Business Associate of our customers, and we will sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with enterprise customers to confirm our implementation of required security, privacy, and data breach related safeguards for protected health information (PHI). Plivo customers must also follow appropriate data security and privacy practices to ensure that their applications are HIPAA-compliant.
